Everything a seller needs to know, in one place

These guides summarise the standards and processes of the marketplace. Your Relationship Manager walks you through each one during onboarding — nothing here is left for you to figure out alone.

Onboarding & documents

Exactly what you need to register, by entity type.

  • Individuals: PAN and a bank account are enough to begin
  • Proprietorships: PAN, business proof (Udyam / trade licence), bank account
  • Firms, LLPs & companies: registration documents, PAN, GSTIN, bank account
  • Societies / SHGs / FPOs: registration certificate, office-bearer list, authorising resolution, entity bank account
  • GST certificate only if you are registered — optional below ₹40 lakh turnover for goods

Product photography

A phone camera and daylight are enough — if you follow the basics.

  • Sarees & apparel: 5–8 photos — full drape (model or mannequin), back, fabric close-up, border and pallu details
  • Handicrafts: 5–6 photos — front, sides, top, detail close-up, and one with a scale reference
  • First image on a clean white or neutral background, minimum 1200×1200 pixels, square
  • No watermarks from other platforms; no borrowed images — listings must show your actual product

Packaging standards

Good packaging is the cheapest insurance you can buy.

  • Sarees & apparel: cloth pouch or resealable bag inside a corrugated box — never newspaper wrap
  • Paintings & Pattachitra: rigid tube or reinforced flat sandwich, bubble wrap mandatory
  • Dhokra & heavy metal: bubble wrap, foam corners, double-wall box
  • Every parcel: tamper-evident tape and the shipping label clearly visible

Packaging video (PVV)

A short video that protects you in every dispute.

  • One continuous take: show the product clearly (front, back, label), then the packing, then the sealed parcel with the shipping label readable
  • Recorded on any smartphone — it takes a minute or two per order
  • If your video clearly shows the correct product, false “wrong item” claims are rejected
  • Customers can see the video too — it is part of why they trust the platform

Pricing & payments

Simple rules, money straight to your bank.

  • You decide the selling price for your product — it is agreed with you and never reduced without your consent
  • The customer sees one clean final price, with free delivery
  • No registration, listing or monthly charges — a transparent platform fee applies only when you sell, explained in writing during onboarding
  • Earnings are transferred directly to your verified bank account on a regular settlement cycle, with a clear statement for every order

Policies & fair play

The rules of the marketplace, published before you sign.

  • Verified-only returns: change-of-mind is not a valid return reason
  • Every issue is decided on evidence, with written reasons — and you always have the right to respond and appeal
  • All terms are shared with you in writing during onboarding, before you commit to anything
  • No off-platform dealing: orders that come through the platform complete on the platform
