Odisha Vastram is currently in its pre-launch phase. This policy is published in advance so sellers, customers and partners can see exactly how the marketplace will operate. It becomes binding when marketplace transactions begin; the published version at that date governs.

Delivery on Odisha Vastram is free for customers — the price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Logistics are managed end-to-end by the platform through professional courier networks, so sellers never improvise shipping and customers never negotiate it.

1. Free delivery

Customer-facing prices include delivery anywhere we serve in India. The GST tax invoice accompanying your order itemises components as required by law, but nothing is added at checkout beyond the displayed price.

2. Dispatch standards

  • Every order is packed to per-category packaging standards and recorded in a packaging video before handover.
  • Sellers must hand over to the courier within 48 hours of packaging verification; delays trigger platform action on the seller, not excuses to you.
  • You are notified at every stage: confirmed, packed, shipped, out for delivery, delivered.

3. Delivery timelines

Typical delivery is 3–6 business days from dispatch, depending on destination. Remote pincodes can take longer; the expected window is shown before you pay. Handcrafted made-to-order items, where offered, display their making time on the product page.

4. Serviceability

We deliver wherever our courier partners reach. If your pincode is not yet serviceable, checkout will tell you before payment — never after.

5. Tracking

Every shipment carries a tracking number, visible in your account and sent by email/WhatsApp, with courier-level tracking updates.

6. Delays and lost shipments

  • If a shipment is significantly delayed beyond its estimate, contact support — we chase the courier and keep you informed.
  • Shipments confirmed lost in transit are refunded in full or reshipped at your choice, at no cost.
  • Damage visible on arrival should be photographed before opening where possible and reported within the return window.

7. International shipping

The marketplace launches with India-wide delivery. International shipping is on our roadmap and will be announced with its own terms.
