Cancellation Policy

Odisha Vastram is currently in its pre-launch phase. This policy is published in advance so sellers, customers and partners can see exactly how the marketplace will operate. It becomes binding when marketplace transactions begin; the published version at that date governs.

Because every Odisha Vastram order is individually packed and video-verified before shipment, cancellation rules are tied to the packing stage: easy before a seller has packed your order, restricted after.

1. Cancelling before packing

You may cancel an order any time before the seller has completed packaging verification — from your account, in one step, no questions asked. You receive a full refund of everything you paid, processed immediately to your original payment method (banks typically post it within 5–7 business days).

2. After packaging verification

  • Once your order is packed, video-verified and queued for pickup, it can no longer be cancelled from your side — a maker has completed the work of preparing it.
  • If something is genuinely wrong (for example, you spotted an issue in the packaging video we share with you), flag the video within its 12-hour review window and our team will review — approved flags cancel the order with a full refund.
  • After dispatch, the order completes its journey; if a problem exists on arrival, the Return & Refund Policy applies.

3. Cancellation by the seller

Sellers may request cancellation only for genuine reasons (stock damage, emergency) and each request is reviewed by the platform. If a seller cancellation is approved, you are refunded in full immediately, and repeated seller cancellations attract platform penalties on the seller.

4. Cancellation by the platform

We may cancel an order for product unavailability, seller non-response, suspected payment fraud, or a verified listing error. Platform-cancelled orders are always refunded in full within 5–7 business days, with notice to you explaining why.

5. Refunds for cancellations

All cancellation refunds are 100% of the amount paid, to the original payment method, with a credit note issued where a tax invoice was already generated.
