Odisha Vastram is currently in its pre-launch phase. This policy is published in advance so sellers, customers and partners can see exactly how the marketplace will operate. It becomes binding when marketplace transactions begin; the published version at that date governs.

This page collects, in one place, every protection a customer has when buying on Odisha Vastram — and exactly what to do when something goes wrong.

1. Payment protection

  • Payments are processed by RBI-regulated payment partners; we never see or store your card details.
  • The displayed price is the final price — delivery is free and nothing is added after checkout.
  • Every order receives a GST tax invoice identifying the responsible seller.

2. Delivery protection

  • Orders ship only after a packaging video documents what was packed.
  • Tracking is provided for every shipment, with proactive updates at each stage.
  • Confirmed lost shipments are refunded in full or reshipped at your choice.

3. Product protection

  • Wrong, damaged, or materially misdescribed products qualify for free return pickup and a 100% refund under the Return & Refund Policy.
  • You can review the packaging video of your own order — transparency works both ways.

4. If something goes wrong

  • Step 1: Raise the issue in your account or write to support@odishavastram.com within 5 days of delivery, with photos.
  • Step 2: Our team verifies against the packaging video and courier records — typically within 2 business days — and tells you the outcome with reasons.
  • Step 3: Not satisfied? Escalate to the Grievance Officer (grievance@odishavastram.com): acknowledged within 48 hours, resolved within 30 days.
  • Step 4: Your statutory consumer rights remain fully available at all times.

5. Fair play

Protections exist for genuine problems. Claims are evidence-verified, and repeated false claims may limit an account after review — this is what keeps the marketplace honest for the artisans behind it and for every other customer.
